Australian Fashion Week
George designed and created 13 large disco clouds for the runway at Australian Fashion Week. These were specifically designed using metallic and shiny recycled materials sourced from places like Reverse Garbage and Arnie’s Recon. Many hours were spent looking at hard rubbish piles and trawling Facebook asking for used sparkly items. CD’s, insulations sarking, foil bubble wrap mirrored window tint, foil first aid blankets, aluminium foil take away containers and plastic cups feature heavily in these undulating suspended clouds.
